CASE STUDY OVERVIEW
This section provides detailed project information for several recent activated carbon projects. The sites presented are those for which a relatively complete set of project documentation was provided for inclusion in the web site. For each of the case studies the site narratives, project objectives, remedial design and work plans, engineering and contract specifications, placement methods and placement monitoring, and long-term effects monitoring are discussed. Documents, photos, and videos describing the engineering and placement process are included. Several of these projects were conducted with ESTCP support, and/or were conducted at Department of Defense facilities.
This is not a definitive list of all AC projects. Other major projects not included are listed in the table below, along with a web link to where the available project documents may be found.
