HAND SPREADING

The simplest of methods is spreading the AC by hand. This has been done principally in upper tidal and nearshore areas where it was impractical to maneuver larger broadcasting equipment. Projects that have used hand-spreading include the Upper Canal Creek, MD and Mirror Lake, DE projects. In both cases, the test sites were small, and the hand-spreading of was done using with an aggregate-AC product.
